STA is a FAB Finalist

Following on from winning the Education Provider of the Year title at the recent 2022 ukactive awards, Safety Training Awards (STA) has today been named as a finalist at this year’s FAB Awards in the top category of Awarding Organisation of the Year.
The FAB (Federation of Awarding Bodies) Awards recognise the contributions made by awarding organisations and their employees to education and skills over the past year.
The prestigious Awarding Organisation of the Year award recognises organisations who have been exceptional, and who have made a major contribution over the last twelve months to education and skills development in the UK.
This year, the judges were also particularly interested in hearing about how organisations have developed inclusive practices around equality, diversity and inclusion.
On hearing the news, Dave Candler, STA’s CEO said:
“It is fantastic to be recognised by the FAB Awards for our contribution to helping and progressing aquatic skills and training over the last year.
Reaching the final five in this prestigious awards category is a great honour in itself, especially in our 90th anniversary year; and for us, it’s really positive that aquatics training has been recognised amongst a strong line up of awarding organisations from all different sectors. Congratulations and good luck to all the finalists.”
FAB, the trade association for professional and technical awarding organisations, will announce all the winners at an awards dinner on 20th October at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester. Click here for further information
