STA Approved Training Centres (ATCs) Will Be Implemented in 2018

Posted on 8th February 2018

Due to regulatory requirements STA’s Approved Training Centres (ATCs) will be coming soon. Our aim as an awarding organisation is to promote consistency, high standards and learner/public confidence in the qualifications that are made available; this will be achieved by implementing a robust quality assurance model.

Safety Training Awards’ ATC model has been designed to support current and prospective ATCs to meet the requirements for delivery, assessment and quality assurance of qualifications.

There will be no cost to our course organisers/centres to gain ATC status with Safety Training Awards.

The ATC model includes any business, organisation or tutor who wish to offer regulated qualifications. Safety Training Awards aim to make this process as easy as possible and will provide guidance and support to centres through every step of the process.

How to Become an Approved Training Centre (ATC)

Centres simply need to read and understand an ATC manual and complete an ATC application, providing us with evidence that they have the resources, policies and procedures in place to ensure continuous adherence to the relevant regulations and requirements. More information on this process will be available soon.
