When You Get Your Qualification
- You will be able to gain employment as a swimming teacher who can teach the four key strokes, essential swimming skills and water safety skills to adult and child participants
- You’ll be qualified to deliver up to Grade 7, excluding diving, of the STA Learn to Swim Programme and Goldfish stage of the STA’s International Learn to Swim Programme

You’ll need to make sure you’ve met the following requirements before you attend your course:
- Be at least 16 years of age
Learners must have all pre-requisites in place before the start of the course. Qualification certificates cannot be issued if all pre-requisites are not met before the start of the course, post course submissions will not be accepted.
